Sore Throat? #1 Best Natural Remedy

#1-sore-throat-natural-remedy

As we move into Fall I have been hearing alot from people who are dealing with sore throats so I wanted to put together some of my favorite tips and tricks for that! You see I have polyps on my vocal cords…..if you ever hear me speak you will hear that raspiness in voice. Since I have these polyps I am much more prone to a sore throat so I know all of the tricks!!!

With the change in the weather and having heat on in our homes we are bound to deal with at least one sore throat. Best to be prepared and ready to tackle it when it does happen.

Honey Drop

This is one of my favorite go to helpers.
Take a teaspoon of honey or coconut nectar then add 1 drop each lemon, OnGuard and Frankincense.
You can simply swallow this combo or add it to some hot water and sip on the ‘tea’ it creates.
You can use this for adults or kiddos!

Sore Throat Gargle

Another great option for a sore throat is a throat gargle!
I take about 1 Oz of water, add a pinch of sea salt and one drop each lemon, OnGuard and Melaleuca to it. 🍋🍋🍋
Then I simply gargle for 1-2 minutes. I follow it up with a warm class of water with a drop of lemon and honey or coconut nectar.
Works like a charm!

You can also make this same combo into a throat spray.

  • 2 oz spray bottle

  • 15 drops On Guard

  • 15 drops Lemon

  • 5 drops Melaleuca

  • Fill remainder with water

Simply shake and spray into your mouth aiming for the back of your throat.

Sore Throat Drops

These are also great to have on hand, OnGuard Throat Drops! Simply pop one in your mouth as needed, they taste delicious and are even gluten free which I have learned from my friend is hard to find in a cough drop!
