DIY Aromatherapy Shower Bombs

We have been talking a lot about coughing, sneezing, stuffy noses and that darn pollen that just seems to keep coming!!!! So I figured it was a good time to teach you another trick to help with the seasonal breathing issues.

DIY all natural aromatherapy shower bombs

I love making aromatherapy shower bombs.  These are the perfect thing when you wake up and it is a little difficult to breathe through your nose, or even when you are feeling a little overwhelmed and you want to turn your shower into a little spa experience!

They are so simple to use.  All you do it place one shower bomb in the corner of a warm steamy shower.  The vapor fills up the shower and your airways.

DIY Aromatherapy Shower Bombs

  • 1 cup baking soda

  • 1/4-1/3 cup water (depends on your humidity)

  • 4-5 drops of essential oil

  • Silicone Ice Cube Tray (optional, but makes your life way easier)

  • Air tight container for storage

Instructions:

  1. Add baking soda to a bowl and slowly add in the water, just enough till it turns into a thick paste.

  2. Add in your essential oils of choice and mix together.

  3. Fill your mold.

  4. Let them sit out to dry completely (usually 24 hours) or place them in the oven for 30-45 minutes at 200 degrees.

  5. Store in an air tight container and use as needed.
