Pumpkin Spice Bread: Baking with Essential Oils
A dear friend of mine Kristine shared this amazing recipe so I decided I would share it with all of you. Very simple to make and so delicious.
Pumpkin Spice Bread:
1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
2. Mix in a large mixing bowl:
✔️1 Cup Canned Pumpkin
✔️1 Cup Sugar (High altitude: reduce by 2 tblsp.)
✔️1/2 Cup Water (High altitude: increase by 2 tblsp.) ✔️1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil (High Altitude: increase by 2 tblsp.)
✔️1 drop CPTG Clove Essential Oil
✔️3 drops CPTG Cinnamon OR Cassia Essential Oil
3. Mix in a separate bowl:
✔️1 Cup All-purpose Flour
✔️1/2 teaspoon salt
✔️1 teaspoon baking powder (High Altitude: reduce by 1/4 teaspoon)
✔️1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, beating until smooth. Grease a 9 x 5" loaf pan and pour in mixture, bake for 60- 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. This bread is absolutely delicious!!
