Essential oils are a great addition in the care of dry cracked heels because they can help the body fight fungal issues as well as supporting a healthy inflammatory cycle. There are a lot of essential oils out there, but for this concern I recommend the below essential oils.

Recipe 1: Healing Balm

Instructions:

  1. Melt the beeswax pastilles, shea butter and coconut oil using a double boiler and heat over medium low flames will everything melts.

  2. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool down for about 2 minutes.

  3. Add the essential oils and stir.

  4. Pour into glass jar and put into the refrigerator to set into a balm.

  5. Apply to heels. You may cover your feet with a pair of comfortable socks to prevent oil stains.

  6. Repeat daily until heels heal.


Recipe 2: Roller Bottle

  • 10 drops melaleuca

  • 10 drops lavender

  • 10 drops peppermint

  • 5 drops thyme

  • 5 drops yarrow | pom

  • Fractionated Coconut Oil

  • 10 ml roller bottle

Instructions:

  1. Add the essential oils to the empty roller

  2. Fill with fractionated coconut oil.

  3. Put roller top and lid on a shake well

  4. Roll onto clean and dry cracked heels and then throw on a pair of comfortable socks

  5. Repeat 1-2 times daily as needed


Recipe 3: Foot Soak

  • A large bowl or tub

  • 10 drops melaleuca

  • 7 drops lavender

  • 1/2 cup epsom salt

  • doTERRA body wash

  • Pumice stone

Instructions:

  1. Fill a bowl or tub with hot water, as hot as you can tolerate

  2. Add epsom salts

  3. Add the essential oils.

  4. Put feet in water and then use them to stir the essential oils in the water

  5. Soak for 15 minutes

  6. After 15 minutes wash legs and feet with doTERRA body wash

  7. Grab your pumice stone and scrub your feet and heels getting rid of dead skin cells

  8. Rinse legs with warm water and dry well

  9. Finish off by applying the healing balm or roller and putting on comfortable socks

  10. Repeat 2-3 times a week until resolved
