Your Thoughts Control Your Life, Time to Start Controlling Them.

This has been an interesting topic for me.  To start, did you know that by reading five books on one topic you know more about that topic then over 90% of the people in the world??? Crazy right?  So I can say I have read five books on this topic and know a good amount of information.  Although that is now why I have read so much on this topic.  I find the law of attraction amazing, powerful and intense.  Most of us do not take time to control our thoughts therefore we let our subconscious mind be in charge of what we attract.  I wanted to be in control of my thoughts, I wanted to understand how the laws of attraction worked, so I started reading and I am no were near done reading.

Think about it, when you all by yourself what runs through your mind?  Positive happy thoughts, rainbows and puppies, completely full bank accounts and freedom to do whatever you want whenever you want?  Well if that is you then great, no need to read further lol.

For most of us our quite subconscious mind thinks about lack, what we don't have, wants eating us alive, all the bad that is going to go wrong, how when we get home from work dinner isn't going to be make, the kids will still not have done their homework and the house will be a mess.  Well let me ask you......is that exactly what happens?  Usually, yes it totally is!

What if I told you that you are making it happen by thinking about all of that?  I know, I know, I sounds crazy! However, what you think in your subconscious mind our body and the universe tries as hard as it can to make that come true.  So if you are constantly thinking about what you don't have or what you don't want.......surprise, you are going to  get more of that.  So this is easy right? Just change what you think about.....easier said then done!  Don't worry, I will give you some tips (and some books to read).

Step 1: Become aware of how you talk to yourself and what you think when you go throughout your day.  If your really committed take a tally all day.  When you think of something you don't want to happen or negative situations you are currently in keep track! I think you will be surprised how ofter your subconscious goes to the don't wants and negative.  I know I was, I could hardly believe it!

Step 2: Start reframing.  Start changing what you say to yourself and what you think about in your subconscious.  Here is a tool I find that is really helpful.  Sit down in a nice quite space, close your eyes and just breathe.  Scan your mind and find something that makes smile on the inside and out the outside. Here are some ideas, your children playing happily, you and your husband laughing together, walking on the beach enjoying the sunshine, your favorite vacation......your options are endless but find something that you can close your eyes picture and feel a buzz of happiness.  The buzz is important.  You really need to find that thing that brings you joy.

Step 3: Practice!  Set an alarm on your phone and 3-5 times a day stop what you are doing and think about your happy thought.  Start to see what that does for you.

Step 4: Now that you can think about that happy thought with some more ease you will spend the next 30 days catching yourself.  When you mind goes to the gutters, you think about don't wants, you think about lack.....STOP and tune into your happy thought.

Step 5: Start dreaming!!! Dream big, not I wish I could pay my bills....thats still lack! Instead think about living in the house of your dreams that you own with no mortgage.  See the difference?  Think past your dream that kinda makes you feel ok inside and dream of something that makes you buzz!!!!!  Now set that timer again 3-5 times a day and stop and dream.  Keep dreaming.  Get creative.  Talk to yourself about what that house looks like, who's in it with you, what your days look like.  Think so deep about it that it starts to feel real, because when you get to that point the universe will start to conspire to make it happen for you.  Don't worry about the details, just dream.
