Back to School

It's that time of year!  The kids are heading back to school. Did you know that children catch on average 6-10 colds per year? Children are constantly exposed by sharing books, playing on the playground, touching the door knobs and anything that other kids are touching. The lunchroom has actually been shown to be the most unclean part of the school.  So what are some things you can do to help keep your kiddos healthy through the school year???  Keep reading!

Start by supporting their immune system.  70-80% of our immune function resides in our guts, so if we don't have a healthy gut we aren't healthy.  Some simple things we can do to keep our guts healthy is to ensure that we are providing our kids with the proper nutrition through vitamins and minerals as well as fish oils.  doTERRA's A2Z Chewable and IQ Mega are the best for your kids, with all of the essential nutrients in an easy to take form.

Probiotics are also a necessity.  They help to boost our immune system from the inside out.  Probiotics help to replenish our gut with the healthy flora, that helps our bodies stay healthy from the inside out.  

So what can we do daily to help our kids fight the coodies going around the school?  Using Onguard daily is key!!! Make a 10 mL roller bottle with 15 drops OnGuard filled with Fractionated Coconut Oil on the bottom of their feet each night before bed will help keep their immune systems strong.
